This is just another VERY lame attempt to use "sex" to sell and promote surfing as a lifestyle for the cool and hip. I'm always appalled at how women are used, or misused in surfing adverts, as well as disgusted at the implication that one who surfs like a pro will provide you with opportunity of getting laid.
I'm not against the "coolness" of our lifestyle and all that comes with that, just against the USE of it for the promotion of misogynistic ideals.
Women are only important to surfing as tools for marketing. Women surfers are overlooked by the industry in terms of marketing. Women pro surfers are only important if they're cute enough to look really good in a bikini. The surf industry, in my opinion, is totally useless.
