Went out at me favorite NORCAL beach break and caught some real nice swell pumping up off a newly formed sand bar. Had it to myself for over an hour before the crowds invaded...pretty nice birthday present.
However, I was so excited to get out into the water that I forgot to apply some sun-protection to me head (even though the suit has a hoodie, I refuse to wear it all the time), thinking that since it was foggy I would not need it. Never underestimate the sun...I got me a red head to prove its power!
