Drove on up to S. Beach for some mushy, lame-ass closeout coldness...but had the pleasure of having the company of Surf Sista Shasara and her friend Jessica.
We first checked out the Point to see what was up with the huge NW swell that was moving through the area and was amazed to see 3 guys out, struggling to catch a rip channel left that was macking barrels and huge offshore sprays of liquid numbness.
Watched it for a bit before relegating ourselves to the mush. Had fun and good Thai/Vietnamese food afterwards.
Discussed that shit that occurred with the "Anonymous" comment, for which both, who are shortboarders themselves, agreed that it was lame and out of line.
Anyways, it felt good to have their perspective on the issue.
