I've hidden a lot of stuff for many years, fearful that any attempts to walk within my own inner desires would simply result in the failed repetition of past mistakes and continued shame.Gradually, I transformed myself from the easy-going, life-affirming explorer, full of imagination and wonder...into an expert of self-isolation and loathing, hating anything that reminded me of my own humanity and everything that was associated with life.
Then along came you...with a beautiful smile on your face and a wicked wink in your eye, you reached into that pit of utter boredom and isolation and kicked me back into the realm of the sensually sinful, igniting a hidden passion within me that consumed all of my doubts...my sweet and sexy little dark-haired angel.
The door that had been closed for so long, was now blown wide-open...immersing me in the glorious inner light of personal freedom and expression...no fears, no guilt, no shame...just undying love and understanding.
Looking back on this life of mine...the ups and downs, the regrets and triumphs, the truths and lies...I'm surprised at how easy it was for me to simply give-up and give-in to it all...LIFE'S LITTLE DRAMA.
It's the lazy way out...to just float along, viewing the shifting landscape from the safety of your own float, never attempting to make that sacrifice of self-action...to leave the bubble and swim against the current...NEVER GET OUT OF THE BOAT=NEVER LIVE
Established society does not do well with abnormal thought or actions, yet it is from these obscene environments that true creativity and expression is born and expressed. Therefore, in order to grow and experience our lives fully, one must embrace both the normal and abnormal within ourselves as a means of finding the balance within for the purpose of keeping us alive in the present.
For, we're all children of creation...made up of the good and the bad, the pure and the perverted, the light and the dark. Some of us have more of one over the other, but the majority of us are a balance between the two opposing opposites.
However, I think that the majority of humans get too hung up on the outside world and its wonderfully enticing and ridiculously stupid small distractions. It's so much easier to neglect our own inner voices for the noise of the outside world. Buy this, to be this. Act this way, to get that. Believe this, or go to hell. Don't speak the truth, so you can survive.
Small creatures with even smaller minds...we all need to re-learn how to truly live a life worth living.
I have learned so much in so little time, and yet I still have more to experience. Likewise, I'm thankful and blessed to have had those that have helped me on this journey...keeping me well-informed and wide-awake to the wonderful possibilities that this one life has to give.
Anyways, just some random thoughts from a weirdo with a penchant for the perverted and profane! ;-p
